After signing up for Cadillac Forums, and learning you need to pay $100 per year to get the full benefits/have a page that doesn't look and act like a circa 2002 Aol page, I decided fuck that. HOWEVER, I did decide to do something about it. What did I do, you ask? Why I created my own Cadillac forum. On our very own kinja. Before you go "oh no, not another sub blog", it isn't. It is a totally separate entity from oppositelock, although if anyone here (I'm looking at you, It's Chrome) wants authorship, they certainly can. With all the authors you've cleared so far, I don't know if I qualify. May I suggest that holding a world record and two track records in my XLR-V may get me an interview. Or maybe my escapades with Johnny OConnell and Andy Pilgrim at Detroit, Atlanta, Ohio, and Road America? Or should I drop names at Cadillac HQ/Marketing?

My ESC-V would have probably been a good baseline, but I've dismantled a lot of the go-fast bits. In its heyday, I had a one-off engine tune for 6lbs of boost from a TRD centrifugal supercharger, 3" intake, 3" catback to Corsa Sport mufflers, an over-the-top tranny shift kit (can you say torque steer), sport suspension, upgraded brakes.

The styling stuff is still there: V badges, the one and only Eldorado V grille, stainless 4"exhaust tips, LED taillights, functional CTS-V fender vents, E34 halo headlamps, 55w 8000K low beams and fogs, 20x8 1/2 real spoke wheels and an 8-trumpet 240psi train horns. The rear wing, front spoiler, and side skirts are cluttering up my basement.

Poor thing has become my winter beater, hell, I don't think I even bothered to take the snow tires off last year.

Yes, I still have 5 of them. Sell them, HELL NO!!

Do you know how hard it is to find FWD 100 Spoke 20x8 1/2 with the right ofset and Cadillac adapters. The last manufacturer, OG Wheels, would send me two a year (potholes in my city are vicious) untill it just wasn't profitable any more.

Cadillac forums is like the Cadillac/LaSalle club, too uptight and and rigid. Are you a member of the largest Cadillac forum in the world, Cadillacforums.com? I'm a mod over there for the STS-V and XLR/-V subforums. Lots more content than the other you mentioned. Also a lot more mod friendly.
